This episode tells the story of Hakka, a little Hakka girl from Chizhu Town with a magic hat, who bravely steps forward during a crisis in Phoenix Mountain. She fights to protect her homeland and the environment, quells the wrath of the mountain god, and rescues forest animals while she is at it.
Hakka leads her innocent and lovely younger sister Amei to help animals in peril in Phoenix Mountain. They make many animal friends along the way, including the little white rabbit Baibai who loves dancing and believes eating carrots can make her become more beautiful. They also meet a little squirrel named Munch who has an affinity for pine cones and is short-tempered, a clumsy rat named Lucky who constantly pesters the sisters for food, a weasel, and the stone man "Uncle Beibei" ... They all live happily in the forest amongst nature.
However, the greedy and insidious racketeer who makes a living by selling small animals and rare medicinal materials steals the heart of the Mountain God, incurring his wrath and shattering the tranquility of Phoenix Mountain. In the days following, the previously warm homeland of the past is now unrecognizable, and the little forest animals find themselves in imminent danger. Under the guidance of Grandma Liliang, Hakka uses the magic hat to help the small animals escape and take refuge. She fights against Hex, Weasel, and Lucky who are enslaved by the racketeer, and by finally thwarting their conspiracy, successfully protects their homeland and the nature surrounding it. Chizhu Town is brought back to life, shining as brilliantly as a rainbow after the rain.
